LGSA Fall Ball 2026 - Fall 2026

Fall Ball involves competitive inter-league play with other city leagues affiliated with NORCAL and is administered through NORCAL Softball. It is open to all girls between the ages of 7-17. Fall Ball is a competitive season, somewhat like All Stars, and playing time is earned not guaranteed.

Fall Ball begins with a seeding tournament Aug 29-30 for 8U and Sept 5-6 for 10u-16u and runs through early November. 2 Games are played each Sunday at 11, 1, or 3.  The following divisions will be offered if there is a Manager/Team in that division: 8U (ages 7-8), 10U (ages 9-10) , 12U (ages 11-12), 14U/16u combo (ages 13-17).

Age divisions are set by USA Softball.  A player’s age, as of August 31, 2026, determines the age at which the player is eligible to play for the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons:

Registration for Fall Ball begins on 5/26/26 and runs through 7/5/26.  Late reg open from 7/6/26 through 7/12/2026 at 12:00pm with an increased cost. Players will be placed on teams that have matching coach and player requests. Coaches may bring a roster to the league. All other players may be placed on teams if there is a sufficient number of coaches and spots available. Practice days/times/locations vary by team. Practices can be any day of the week. There is not a Player Draft for Fall Ball unless a coach needs to hold a tryout for filling remaining spots on the team.  Coaches will obtain their own pitchers and catchers.

What is covered by the Registration Fee? 
Registration helps cover the uniform (jersey/socks), insurance, City of Lincoln Field use fees, registration with USA Softball, Light Costs which are substantial, umpire fees, field equipment and more.

Refunds? 
Refunds will be automatically offered if there is not a spot available for your daughter. Players may drop with a refund if a written request is submitted on or before August 1. There will be no refunds after this date.
