LGSA Fall Ball 2024 - Fall 2024
Fall Ball involves competitive inter-league play with other city leagues affiliated with NORCAL and is administered through NORCAL Softball. It is open to all girls between the ages of 7-17.
Fall Ball begins the weekend before Labor Day for our 8u division and Labor Day weekend for divisions 10u and up with a seeding tournament and runs through early/mid-November. 2 Games are played each Sunday at 11, 1, or 3. The following divisions will be offered: 8U (ages 7-8), 10U (ages 9-10) , 12U (ages 11-12), 14U/16u combo (ages 13-17).
Age divisions are set by USA Softball. A player’s age, as of August 31, 2024, determines the age at which the player is eligible to play for the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons:
8-Under: A player whose 9th birthday is prior to September 1, 2024 is INELIGIBLE.
10-Under: A player whose 11th birthday is before September 1, 2024 is INELIGIBLE.
12-Under: A player whose 13th birthday is before September 1, 2024 is INELIGIBLE.
14-Under: A player whose 15th birthday is before September 1, 2024 is INELIGIBLE.
16-Under: A player whose 17th birthday is before September 1, 2024 is INELIGIBLE.
Registration for Fall Ball begins on 6/20/24 and runs through 7/15/24. Late registration open from 7/16/24 through 8/1/2024 with an increased cost. You may opt to play in the player’s eligible upcoming year division (Spring 2025). Play up requests are not required in Fall ball. Players will be placed on teams that have matching coach and player requests. Coaches may bring a roster to the league. All other players may be placed on teams if there is a sufficient number of coaches and spots available. Practice days/times/locations vary by team. Practices can be any day of the week. There is not a Player Draft for Fall Ball. Coaches will obtain their own pitchers and catchers.
What is covered by the Registration Fee?
Registration helps cover the uniform (jersey/socks), insurance, City of Lincoln Field use fees, registration with USA Softball, umpire fees, field equipment and more.
Refunds?
Refunds will be automatically offered if there is not a spot available for your daughter. Players may drop with a refund if a written request is submitted on or before August 1. There will be no refunds after this date.
