Bombers Try-outs 2025 - Spring 2025

LGSA is excited to continue our Select program this Spring. Divisions offered will be determined on interest and skill level, evaluated by the board, and discussed during the October Board Meeting.

The Lincoln Bombers Select Program is a B level team, (early formed All Star team), provides additional opportunities for players who wish to improve their softball skills beyond the regular Spring Rec Season and experience a more advanced level of competition. The Select Program players may be required to participate in the Spring Rec Season with at least a 75% participation rate and will be evenly split among the Rec teams. The team will also be competing in local Sunday games or tournaments against other Select teams in the area. This program is sanctioned through USA Softball. The Bombers will also stay together as an early forming All Star Team for the summer competitive season. Practice will be one day a week once the Spring Rec season starts. Cost will be $550 for the full season and families are expected to participate in all Bombers Fundraising Events, such as the annual Golf Tournament, as well as selling a box of chocolate for the Spring Rec fundraiser.

LGSA Fall Ball 2025 - Fall 2025

Fall Ball involves competitive inter-league play with other city leagues affiliated with NORCAL and is administered through NORCAL Softball. It is open to all girls between the ages of 7-17.

Fall Ball begins Labor Day weekend for divisions 10u and up with a seeding tournament and runs through early/mid-November. 2 Games are played each Sunday at 11, 1, or 3.  The following divisions will be offered: 8U (ages 7-8), 10U (ages 9-10) , 12U (ages 11-12), 14U/16u combo (ages 13-17).

Age divisions are set by USA Softball.  A player’s age, as of August 31, 2025, determines the age at which the player is eligible to play for the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons:

8-Under: A player whose 9th birthday is prior to September 1, 2025 is INELIGIBLE. No 8u this season
10-Under: A player whose 11th birthday is before September 1, 2025 is INELIGIBLE.
12-Under: A player whose 13th birthday is before September 1, 2025 is INELIGIBLE.
14-Under: A player whose 15th birthday is before September 1, 2025 is INELIGIBLE.
16-Under: A player whose 17th birthday is before September 1, 2025 is INELIGIBLE.

What is covered by the Registration Fee? 
Registration helps cover the uniform (jersey/socks), insurance, City of Lincoln Field use fees, registration with USA Softball, umpire fees, field equipment and more.

Refunds? 
Refunds will be automatically offered if there is not a spot available for your daughter. Players may drop with a refund if a written request is submitted on or before August 1. There will be no refunds after this date.
