BACKGROUND CHECKS

If you plan to be in the dugout or on the field with the players you MUST have completed a background check through LGSA. (Background checks from other leagues are not acceptable.)
Please contact your coach first to notify them of your interest in helping out with their team. They will inform you of the next steps. Or you can contact the Background Check Coordinator at backgroundcheck@lincolngirlssoftball.org

Background check fee is $28.00 payable to LGSA. You MUST register yourself as a Coach or Volunteer in order to begin the background check process. Once you are cleared you may assist with the girls.

People that need to be background checked include but are not limited to:

• Anyone over the age of 18 on the field at practice or games. (Coaches, parent helpers, anyone coming in contact with our players.)
• Anyone over the age of 18 in the dugout at games. (Team mom, coaches, assistants, managers, etc.)
• Any umpires over the age of 18.
• Any person over the age of 18 having any kind of interaction at practices or games with LGSA players.
